The purpose of this blog is to describe our journey towards excellence in the field of service research. The blog started as an effort of only one team at VTT and has now grown to involve a much larger group of VTT researchers all passioned about service research.
The blog will act as a platform for us to share our thoughts and document the steps we take on this journey. Hopefully writing these posts together makes us encourage each other, discuss and think through our steps, put them in a wider context and see tangible results of the scientific work that so often is a thinking process and intangible in nature. To be able to look back and see the journey we have already taken reminds us that even the smallest steps or steps backwards are in fact, taking us forward.
The other side of the coin is to make our work known for the world. Hopefully we will get some feedback and experiences from all you guys out there, whether you consider yourselves fellow researchers, customers, developers, designers, jacks of all trades etc.
